The SMU Dedman School of Law Board of Advocates (BOA) and the Robert B. Rowling Center for Business Law & Leadership recently partnered for the first-ever On-Campus Transactional Law Competition.
This event was organized by Rowling Scholars BOA On-Campus Advocacy Directors 3Ls Sarah Ghaffari and Robel Tsegu, the BOA's Chair of On-Campus Competitions 3L Tyler Maher, and Judge Recruitment Director 3L Eric Achatz. SMU Law Professor Carla L. Reyes serves as the advisor and helped judge the competition.
Congratulations to the 2023 Transactional Law Champions 3Ls Ali Thorburn and her partner. The 2023 Runners-Up were 2Ls Julia St. John and Honest Kapic.
