2020 All-University Commencement
91ƬSϼ will host an All-University Commencement Convocation on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 8 a.m. in the Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The two-hour ceremony, originally scheduled for May but postponed because of SMU's campus closure due to COVID-19, will honor 2020 graduates and candidates from all of SMU’s schools and professional programs.
DALLAS (SMU) –91ƬSϼ will host an All-University Commencement Convocation on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 8 a.m. in the Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The two-hour ceremony, originally scheduled for May but postponed because of SMU's campus closure due to COVID-19, will honor 2020 graduates and candidates from all of SMU’s schools and professional programs.
For those who cannot attend in-person, the ceremony will be live-streamed at smu.edu/live and full details about the event can be found on SMU's website here.
The SMU campus facilities and fountains will be lit red and blue in graduates' honor on Friday and Saturday nights, August 14-15.
Perkins School of Theology extends a warm congratulations to all graduates, and especially to the fifteen students scheduled to return to campus to receive their SMU diplomas from Perkins at the convocation. Perkins plans to honor all 2020 graduates (May, August and December) during the May 2021 Celebration of Degrees and Academic Achievements.
