A distinguished team of in-house attorneys serves as Faculty Supervisors for our students
Students are assigned to cohorts of approximately 20 students, each supervised by an experienced faculty supervisor who works with an area company. Our team approach to teaching and supervising corporate externs involves a collaborative and comprehensive strategy. SMU Law faculty and industry professionals work together to provide a well-rounded learning experience. This includes joint efforts in curriculum design, practical skill development, small group discussions, and networking opportunities.
This collaborative approach enhances the overall educational experience, preparing corporate externs for the multifaceted challenges of the legal profession.
