Business Law Competitions
The SMU Rowling Center for Business Law & Leadership, in partnership with the Board of Advocates, hosts on-campus transactional law competitions for SMU Dedman School of Law students, focusing on business and transactional law skills.
Focus: The competitions aim to provide students with practical experience in business and transactional law, complementing the curriculum. Partnership: The Rowling Center and the Board of Advocates (BOA) collaborate to organize and run these competitions.
On-Campus Competitions: The BOA runs on-campus competitions for both BOA members and non-members, including the on-campus transactional law competition.
Transactional Law Competition: The first-ever on-campus transactional law competition was organized by Rowling Scholars and BOA On-Campus Advocacy Directors.
