The Office of Spiritual Life at Presbyterian Village North, a premier senior living community in north Dallas, has the opportunity for homiletics students to preach three services (10:30am, 2pm, and 3:00pm) one Sunday a month for a small $100 stipend. Preaching series or scriptures will be provided. You do not need to be Presbyterian.

Job Description:

Due to expansion into more hospitals in (ROUND ROCK, AUSTIN, TX), we are looking to fill two (2) part-time hospital chaplain positions. Be available for patients needing sacramental services, and emotional support. Dealing with sudden loss, adjusting to chronic illness, patient or family grief. Contacting area churches to inform or procure support services. Guidance with regard to spiritual care, marriages, funerals, etc.

Requirements (Application, Resume, References, etc…):

Must be actively enrolled in an accredited seminary or graduate. Application, resume with work history plus references.

Complete training in patient response, grief and bereavement counseling and catastrophic response is preferred but TRAINING IS ALSO PROVIDED. Strong time/territory management skills. MS OFFICE & computer proficiency. Reliable transportation. Active or retired military are always in need.

Compensation (Negotiable based on): Level of experience and number of assigned facilities will determine compensation. Internships are also paid.
