External Award Opportunities
The Association of American Universities (AAU) compiles information on the faculty members of each institution who have garnered recognition through awards, fellowships, and memberships in the National Research Council (NRC) list of highly prestigious awards. This list includes more than 1,300 research and scholarship awards, teaching honors, prestigious fellowships, and memberships in distinguished societies.
The NRC awards are categorized into four main areas: arts and humanities, social sciences, physical sciences and engineering, and life sciences. Awards are organized by department and discipline. The featured awards are those that faculty members in similar departments across the nation have received, providing a comprehensive guide for those seeking recognition in their respective fields.
