Living in UDH means more independence, but you still want to get to know your neighbors. UDH hosts a variety of events and programs such as a bake night, pumpkin carving, and Movement Monday. Additionally, UDH residents are encouraged to continue their affiliation with their Residential Commons by attending events such as their FiR’s weekly program or the RC signature event.
Upper Division housing is proud to plan and host the yearly signature event, Block Out the Stress.The UDH Community Council spends all year brainstorming activities, food, and giveaways to ensure everyone who attends can take a break from the stress of finals in the spring and enjoy an afternoon with friends. Typical activities include food trucks, swag, giveaways, and games.

Nichole is from Michigan and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising & Public Relations from Marquette University. Nichole’s first career was working in Fraternity & Sorority life as an Educational Leadership Consultant where she traveled the country visiting chapters. Nichole felt a pull to continue her education while remaining in a setting where she could continue working with students and ultimately attended Texas Christian University to earn a Master's in Higher Education Leadership. Nichole has worked at a few other institutions before joining the UDH Community here at SMU.
