Grounds Excellence Awards
In many areas, the landscape at SMU is formal reflecting the programs taught
in the surrounding buildings while meeting the environmental needs of Dallas.
Where possible, we let our imaginations go, showcasing some plants that
many would not be familiar with, while demonstrating the large pallet of
material which can be use in North Texas. We want to help educate the public
on what plants can be used at their homes and what it takes to make them
flourish. Our landscape helps set the tone for what those who live, work and
attend college will expect during their time at SMU.
