Collaboration-Based Tenured/Tenure-Track Positions
To enhance our ability to build large interdisciplinary research teams, we are strategically recruiting across departments based on thematic alignment rather than focusing solely on specialization within each department. Cluster Hiring for Multiple Renewable-Contract Faculty Positions
SMU Lyle is embarking on a bold and transformative initiative to reshape our undergraduate curriculum with a strong focus on innovation, leadership, mentorship, and entrepreneurship. As part of this effort, we are excited to announce the hiring of multiple renewable-contract (non-tenure-track) faculty across five departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Operations Research and Engineering Management, and Computer Science.
These new faculty members will play a pivotal role in pioneering an innovative experiential curriculum that will be integrated across all disciplines. This curriculum is designed to empower our students with the skills and mindset needed to excel in a rapidly changing world. One of these faculty members, depending on their experience and educational background, will be appointed as the Director of this initiative to further driving our mission to lead in educational excellence.
By joining SMU Lyle, you will be at the forefront of educational innovation, helping to shape the future leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
