Logan Rhys Hallwas is a Canadian actor and interdisciplinary artist originally from Vancouver, BC. As a half and half mix of Canadian and Serbian blood, born and raised by the ocean and mountains of British Columbia, Hallwas’s love of art has always been as wild as that rugged terrain. He would describe his artistic interests and inspirations as being where experimental theatre meets The Terminator. And he has a lot of love for both. From being a competitive athlete in his youth to majoring in classical guitar before discovering theatre, Hallwas found a home in the contemporary art scene in downtown Vancouver. He collaborated withcutting edge artists to pursue his passion for innovation in the theatre and pushing the boundaries of performance in contemporary art. He first earned his B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from Simon Fraser University while working with contemporary theatre companies such as Leaky Heaven and Radix Theatre, as well as performing at The Push Festival in Vancouver. He was an associate artist at Fight With A Stick Performance from 2018-2020, and in 2021 he was an Artist In Residence at The Anvil Centre in British Columbia. In 2022 he moved to Dallas, TX, to begin his M.F.A. in Acting at SMU. While pursuing his M.F.A., he has performed with many theatres across Dallas including Dallas Theater Center, Theatre Three, Shakespeare Dallas and Fair Assembly. You can find him hanging out at local concert venues, coffee shops, on the golf course, out with friends and family, and in the gym training to try and be the next John Wick villain. And he always leaves a little time to sit on a patio.
