Biographical Note

Dr. Ted Green is a medical anthropologist who has spent much of his career working on issues related to HIV/AIDS, primarily in Africa. He has served as a senior research scientist at the Harvard School of Public Health and director of the AIDS Prevention Project at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies. He also served in the Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council for the National Institutes of Health from 2003 to 2006, and was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS from 2003 to 2007.
