Biographical Note

Nazanin Ash began her work on global HIV/AIDS issues in 2002, with ActionAid Kenya. In 2003, as a White House Fellow, she worked in the Office of the Undersecretary for Global Affairs and Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC), helping specifically with the launch of PEPFAR. She later become a senior policy advisor at OGAC. She has since held multiple senior positions in the U.S. Department of State and USAID, and is currently the CEO of Welcome.US.
