Biographical Note

Dr. Robert Murphy serves as Executive Director of the Robert J. Havey, MD Institute for Global Health at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He is also the Interim Chief of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine and the John Philip Phair Professor of Infectious Diseases. From 2004 to 2010, he served as PEPFAR country director for Nigeria (in partnership with the Harvard School of Public Health).
